The Door Students exists to see students’ lives restored with the gospel for God’s glory. We seek to depend entirely on Jesus – living out the Gospel in tangible ways that shows God’s love for people. Striving to create disciples of Christ, we meet weekly to hang out, worship, and dive into Scripture in various ways. All students 6th-12th grade from any school are invited to be a part of our family.

THE DOOR STUDENTS MEETS WEEKLY ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS FROM 6P-8P AT THE DOOR CHURCH.

  • GOSPEL CENTERED

We have one message every week at The Door Students: We are in need of Jesus. Because Jesus lived a perfect life, died, and was resurrected, we have freedom from the guilt of sin and the shame of imperfections. Being a student comes with a particular set of challenges and battles to face. Our mission is to take on these issues through the eyes of Scripture by creating a fun environment for intentional community and Scripture-based teaching that is relevant.

  • Community Driven

The pillar aspects of The Door Students is groups. This is because we believe that community and friendship is life-giving and sharpening. Through honest, open, and dynamic discussion, we dive into Scripture in a way that is unique and sharpening. In addition, we seek to create community by inviting our students to many different fun activities and service projects – all of these things to seek God’s heart for Christ-centered community.

  • Others People Focused

God sent Jesus into the world to do the work of reconciliation. Jesus tells us, “As my Father sent me, so I sent you.” Simply put, we live on a mission. Whether through the weekly message, small groups, or even fun activities, we create an environment that points to the reality of our mission as image bearers of Jesus. Our goal is to see students becoming passionate disciples that share the Gospel with others.
