The Door Kids exists to see kids’ lives restored with the gospel for God’s glory. Our aim is to partner with parents in setting a foundation of understanding Jesus’ saving grace. We take great care to train and background-check our leaders and volunteers who are committed to creating a fun and exciting environment where kids can learn about God’s love for them.

THE DOOR KIDS TAKES PLACE IN THE LITTLE DOOR FOR BIRTH-5TH EACH WEEKEND SERVICE AND DURING SOME SPECIAL EVENTS.

Checking in at The Little Door

We work hard to create an check-in process that is easy and secure. When you arrive at The Little Door, you can check in your kids at our iPad check-in station in the main lobby. If it’s your first time at The Little Door, our team will ask for the last 4 digits of your phone number so that we can identify you quickly in the future. After you’re checked in, a Little Door team member will tell you which room(s) your kid(s) will be in and hand you a security sticker to put on the shirt of each of your kids as well as a sticker for you to keep. These stickers contain a randomly generated security code that is unique to your kids. Your kids can only be picked up by presenting this sticker at check-out after the service. After checking your kids in, you’re ready to go! Just take them to the correct room and you’re set. We also have a pager system, so that if a child needs a parent to come at any point during the service, your security code will display at the front of the sanctuary.

THE DOOR KIDS IN ACTION

  • GOSPEL CENTERED

We have one message every week at The Door Kids: We are in need of Jesus. Our mission is to open the door to truth and partner with parents to set a Christ-centered foundation for their children. Every week, children at The Door Kids hear the Gospel in an environment that is fun, exciting, and loving.

  • Community Driven

We know parenting is not always easy. That’s why The Door Kids aims to partner with parents not only to share the Gospel with kids, but to create a community of parents that seek to disciple their children. Our goal is to team up with parents in an effort to share, teach, and exemplify the Gospel to kids at TDC and at home.

  • Others People Focused

Our hope is to raise kids who love others. We intentionally set aside time each week to encourage growth in each kid’s walk with Jesus. Whether participating in community outreach or writing letters to missionaries, we aim to teach kids how to show Jesus’ love to others.
